Danielle Koziol, of Monson, photographed these trees after the tornado. "These few trees were left remaining on my mountain," Koziol said. "Art, beauty & appreciation for simplicity can help one through the hardest of times, such as life following the 2011 tornado."





6/1/2012 - 10/28/2012 Photos & an audio interview will be on display at The Springfield, Ma Museum of History in regards to my experience following last year's tornado. The interview will also air on New England Public Radio.







Fri. May 4th at 7:30pm, WCVB Channel 5 BOSTON  - 'The Chronicle - After The Storm.'

Monson resident Danielle Koziol recently came across these tomatoes sprouting in the woods, likely from soil upheaval following the tornado.






Monson resident and tornado survivor Danielle Koziol recently snapped this shot of a sunflower growing in front of a collapsed home in the area of Upper Hampden Road in Monson. "Nature is amazing" Koziol said, adding, "this [sunflower] was not here before.
